Every International Summer School on Social Banking introduces Social Banking and Finance in general and in addition focuses on a main topic; in 2011: “Money rules the world – who rules the money?”. Under this motto, we will raise awareness on our abilities to design money and by this, design society. The following topics will be covered specifically: What is money? Growth and Size (economic growth, organisational growth/size); Reporting and Measuring Social and Environmental impact; Regulation: (How) can there be a “one size fits all” banking regulation? Competences of “the Social Banker”: What does Social Banking look like in terms of skills and career opportunities? Social Banking and Social Enterprise: How is the relationship? Best practices of Social Banking and Social Finance; Potential for Change.
