Asian Students' Forum «Education without Borders. Altai – Asia 2012"
June 27 - June 30, 2012
The aim of the Forum is consolidation of Asian universities in developing integration in educational sphere, expanding international academic mobility and cultural links.
We invite representatives of universities and other higher educational institutions from Russia, China, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, South Korea, Japan and other countries of the Asian continent.
The Forum is supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and the Administration of the Altai Territory.
The Forum topics are the following:
1. Education: students’ academic mobility and educational space of the Asian region;
2. Science: youth science and innovations in modern Asia;
3. International youth organizations: social partnership and social security;
4. Culture: traditions and innovations in youtn environment of Asian countries;
5. Healthy lifestyle: leisure activities, sport and tourism in the Asian region.
Within the Forum framework we are planning to hold International Students’ Festival to demonstrate traditional and modern culture of the Asian countries. There will be also a contest of students’ creative and research projects.
The Forum will be held in a picturesque place of the Altai Mountains (Gorny Altai).
The Forum working languages are Russian and English.
We invite students accompanied by professor or faculty staff member. The host party will cover transfer expenses from the city of Barnaul to the forum venue, accommodation and food expenses for 3 participants, including the University administration representative.
