Section "Innovative nature resource management" was organized in 2008 by the Graduate School of Innovative Business.

Based on the experience of leading professors and teachers of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Graduate School trains highly skilled specialist in the field of environmental management, mainly - prospecting, exploration, extraction and processing of hydrocarbon raw materials, geotechnical investigations, environmental safety and legal aspects of natural resource management.

In 2015, reports of young scientists were focused on traditional and innovative methods of exploration and exploitation of fossil fuels, land use problems and environmental safety during oil and gas fields development; evaluation and monitoring of environmental measures and the various aspects of water management, improvement of licensing system in geology, experience analysis of joint ventures in offshore projects and investigation of the oil market.
